Plein Air/Outdoor Painting Watercolor Workshop
March 30 – April 5, 2019
Have you ever painted outside among the waving palm trees? Nature is all around, offering so many points of view, so many greens!! Enjoy 5 days of watercolor instruction with some free time to paint and explore on your own. All levels of experience are welcome!
Each day, we will set up and work in a local spot.…selecting subjects and scenes that feel personal to you. Doris will do a demo to start the watercolor flowing and then everyone will paint together with guidance on materials, subject selection, composition, value.
When we work indoors (air conditioned), if windy or too hot, we will have specific lessons on technique and ‘how to’.
A critique or evaluation will be held most afternoons to check progress and look for ideas for improvement on your personal style. Everyone is a beginner when it comes to painting! Don’t be shy! It is an enriching experience.
