June 5-10/20 2026 Friday arrive, Wed. departure

Vieux Quebec, Class filled, wait list only.

Cost: $450 painters, $350 non painters

Send deposit $100 to hold your place. Make sure your passport is in order.

To register I'll need: name, address, email, and cell

as well as emergency contact: email, cell, location and relation to you.

Most of us will be driving/carpooling. Passengers should divide up gas and tolls. Parking will be shared by each auto. We will be staying 5 nights so 6 days parking will be required.

Parking is in a city lot, est $25 CAD per day. We will be walking to locations for exploring and painting, when possible.

Airport is an option.

Address: 39 La Maison Kent, Rue Saint-Louis, Quebec

We have reserved apartments in La Maison Kent in the upper city, near the famous landmark Frontenac Hotel, and Governor's Garden. One feels surrounded by historic Europe with the old-world charm.

Meals will be up to each participant's preference. We have rented a shared, larger apartment in La Maison Kent for group get-togethers and afternoon critiques. Each accommodation comes with a kitchenette, for simple fare, but both the shared Penthouse and Apartment #300 will have a larger refrigerator and cooking space to accommodate.

Le Grande March, Grocery stop will be on the way into the city, or perhaps a bus/Uber to the store for general breakfasts, etc. Look online to see what food/drink items you may bring across the border. There are restrictions.

The lower city is easily accessed via the funicular. We can take the Red Bus/Hop on-Hop off around the major sites early in our visit. The 2-day pass ($48 CAD) will give us the option to use it a second day, so we could select a painting location along the sightseeing route for day #2, hoppiing on the bus again.

Also planned will be a trip to Montmorency Waterfall Park, and on to Isle d'Orleans for a stop at a vineyard with wine tasting if you like.

Lots to do, lots to see. I can't wait!

Practice a bit of French with Duo Lingo, or get out your old high school books!

À plus tard!
