Explore the Apulia region, southern Italy. 4 nights will be in shared apartments in Lecce, 'the Florence of the South' they say. Beautiful architecture. Field trips, yes! This is a historic area. Trulli houses in Alberobello, a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1996.

Second part of the workshop will be centered in Molfetta, a lovely city on the sea, just outside of Bari. More details coming.

Suggestion: Fly into Bari, or Brindisi return from there or if staying on, rental car to travel on to other areas or on to Tuscany.

Anyone want to do a couple of days ahead, (not part of workshop) fly to Rome and visit Pompeii? A possibility.
